Most clothes are insulated or have insulating properties. The electric field it produces is very strong for the surrounding conductors, which may induce charge on nearby isolated conductors. Therefore, the staff needs to wear anti-static overalls to shield the insulated clothes to minimize the static field generated by the clothes.
The operator charges the clothing and shoes during normal production activities, between the clothing worn and the surface of the external media, between the layers of clothing, and between the sole and the floor during walking, due to frequent contact separation and friction, especially The charging is intensified when wearing a high-insulation chemical fiber cloth. The static charge of the clothing and shoes is gradually dispersed to the entire surface according to the law of the charge on the medium, and a certain static voltage is formed on the garment when the balance is reached. Because the human body itself is a good conductor, the charging of the clothing will cause the human skin to be charged around the body due to electrostatic induction, and a certain static voltage is also formed. Therefore, for the operator, the standard style anti-static clothing pattern, there are two possible discharge channels; it is generally believed that wearing cotton overalls can prevent static accumulation of anti-static clothing, and thus it is safe and practical.

Cotton fabrics can even charge more than some chemical fiber fabrics, so in a dry climate, you can't expect to use any cotton products to eliminate the static hazard of antistatic clothing under any circumstances. One is the discharge between the fingertip and the grounding conductor, and the other is the discharge between the working clothes and the grounding conductor. Both of these discharges may cause damage to the static sensitive device. Although the antistatic can eliminate the first type of discharge danger, it cannot be eliminated. The second type of discharge is dangerous.
Please do not ignore or do not pay enough attention to eliminate the static electricity of anti-static clothing, this is a need to make strict improvements, in order to effectively prevent the electrostatic discharge of human body!
