Anti-static clothing and fabric features

As is known, the anti-static clothing has the function of dust-free and anti-static, and can effectively prevent the damage of the electronic components caused by static electricity. Anti-static clothing can be divided into coveralls and split suits. It is also very common in the medical device industry.

For anti-static clothing, prevent static build-up of clothes, and use anti-static fabric as the fabric for sewing. It is suitable for wearing in static-sensitive places or fire or explosion hazards. The antistatic fabric used is mainly made of antistatic fibers or antistatic synthetic fibers made of conductive materials of all or part of metal or organic materials at substantially equal intervals or evenly during weaving, or a mixture of the two.

Antistatic clothing Conductive fiber is a general term for fibers made of conductive or sub-conductive materials of metal or organic materials, and its volume resistivity ρv ~ is between 104 and 109 Ω/cm. In accordance with the dispersion condition of the conductive component in the fiber, the conductive fiber can be classified into three types: a conductive component uniform type, a conductive component mask type, and a conductive component composite type.

Anti-static clothing is made of different fabrics, which have different characteristics for these fabrics. These fabrics have a conductive effect and secondly have many advantages.

Anti-static lining can be woven lining, such as conductive silk, anti-static T / C lining, but also knitted lining, such as anti-static knitted gloves, anti-electric knitted underwear. In addition to the need to meet the general technical standards of textiles, anti-static linings also need to have outstanding anti-static functions, in order to meet the needs of production and safety.

Since it is worn in a clean room, it is required that the fabric cannot be used as a source of dust in the clean room, which determines that the ultra-clean fabric can only be produced by chemically synthesized long fibers. Natural short fibers such as cotton, hemp, and silk cannot be used in ultra-clean linings, although these materials can make the lining more pleasing. It is also necessary to strictly control the amount of dust generated by the chemical fiber filaments selected for use. Generally speaking, fully matt polyester filaments are not suitable for woven antistatic super clean lining. Titanium dioxide, a matting agent that participates in the production of polyester, will become a source of pollution.

Therefore, only by accurately understanding the characteristics of anti-static fabrics and anti-static clothing, can we purchase high-quality anti-static clothing.
