Anti-static overalls
Anti-static overalls refer to work clothes that are sewn with anti-static fabric as a fabric to prevent static build-up on clothing. Anti-static overalls are suitable for use in electrostatic sensitive places such as petroleum industry, mining and metallurgy industry, chemical industry, electronics industry, special industry or fire and explosion hazardous places.

Anti-static overalls are available in split, multi-piece, and pullover styles. Socks, hats, and masks can be combined freely. The anti-static fabric used in the anti-static overalls is mainly made by mixing conductive fibers or conductive synthetic fibers made of metal or organic conductive materials at equal intervals or evenly during weaving, or a mixture of the two. The anti-static overalls made of conductive fibers are added to the chemical fiber fabric, and the power-dissipation is based on two mechanisms of charge leakage and neutralization.
When grounded, the static electricity on the fabric is neutralized by the corona discharge of the conductive fibers, and can also be discharged to the ground via the conductive fibers; when not grounded, the electricity is dissipated by the weak corona discharge of the conductive fibers. Identification method: In the laboratory, the amount of charge can be measured. After washing according to the standard method, the charge of each work wear should be less than 0.6μc ("Anti-static overalls" GB12014-89); anti-static in the new trial The general specifications for clean workwear are divided into three levels, which are no more than 0.1, 0.3, and 0.6 μc/piece, respectively.

The point-to-point resistance can be measured without measuring the charge amount, and should be between 1 × 105 and 1 × 10 10 Ω (General Specification for Antistatic Testing of Electronic Products Manufacturing and Application Systems, SJ/T10694-2006).
