Antistatic Clothing for Personnel and Antistatic Facilities in Production Sites
1. Static Electricity Safety Workbench: Consists of a workbench, antistatic mat, wrist strap connector, and grounding wire.
2. The antistatic mat should have at least two wrist strap connectors: one for operators and one for technicians/inspection personnel.
3. Plastic boxes, rubber, cardboard, glass, and other easily static-generating items are not allowed on the static electricity safety workbench. Drawings and documents should be placed in antistatic document bags.
4. Antistatic Wrist Straps: Personnel directly handling static-sensitive devices must wear antistatic wrist straps. The wrist strap should have good contact with the skin, and the wrist strap system's resistance to ground should be 1MΩ.
5. Antistatic Capacitors: Component storage bags, turnover boxes, PCB loading/unloading racks, etc., in the production area should have antistatic protection. Metal and ordinary containers are not allowed, and all containers must be grounded. 6. Anti-static work clothes: Personnel entering the anti-static work area and those handling SMD components must wear anti-static work clothes, especially in dry environments with relative humidity less than 50% (such as in winter). The fabric of the work clothes should comply with relevant national standards.
7. Personnel entering the work area must wear anti-static work shoes. Personnel wearing ordinary shoes should use conductive shoe straps, anti-static shoe covers or heel straps, anti-static caps, anti-static and non-slip gloves, and anti-static masks.
9. Conveyor belts and drive shafts used on the production line should be equipped with anti-static grounded brushes and support rods.
10. Ionized wind static eliminators can be used on the surface of conveyor belts.
11. Assembly fixtures, testing fixtures, welding tools, and various instruments used in the production area should all have proper grounding wires.
12. An anti-static testing platform should be installed at the entrance to the production area. Every person entering the production area should undergo an anti-static test and can only enter the area after passing the test.
