Comprehensive Overview of Grounding Anti-static ESD Products
Grounding is the most common anti-static method in engineering projects. There are various grounding methods, including single-point grounding, multi-point grounding, and mixed types. Single-point grounding is further divided into series single-point grounding and parallel single-point grounding. Many grounding products are available; below are some examples:
1. Anti-static Wrist Straps: Widely used in various workstations. Many types of wrist straps are available; it is generally recommended to use wrist straps equipped with a 1 megohm resistor, with sufficient slack in the cord length.

2. Anti-static Watches: Requires supplementary anti-static measures (such as adding ionizers, wearing anti-static heel straps, etc.) to achieve better anti-static effects. It is not recommended to use anti-static watches extensively.
3. Anti-static Foot Straps/Anti-static Shoes: After using anti-static flooring in the factory, anti-static shoe straps or anti-static shoes should be worn. It is recommended that workshops primarily use anti-static shoes to reduce dust introduction. Combining this with anti-static wrist straps will further enhance the effect.
4. Anti-static mats: Used for laying on the surface of each workbench. Each mat is reliably connected to the anti-static ground by connecting a 1 megohm resistor in series.
5. Anti-static flooring:
Anti-static flooring includes: PVC flooring, polyurethane flooring, and raised flooring.
Anti-static wax and anti-static paint: Anti-static wax can be used on various floor surfaces to increase anti-static properties and make the floor brighter and cleaner.
Anti-static paint can be used on various floor surfaces and can also be applied to various shelves, turnover boxes, and other containers.
