How to choose the right size for ESD anti-static shoes
Today, a customer asked me how to buy suitable anti-static shoes for employees when choosing anti-static shoes. Although it is said that you can send samples and try them on, what should you do if you have too many shoe sizes?
That is to measure your feet and you will know what size shoes to wear. The correct approach is that we should measure the length of our feet. When measuring, we should stand instead of sitting or squatting. The weight of your body should be distributed to your feet, and the force on your feet should be similar to when we usually walk. This measures the longest distance between your feet. Then convert it to shoe size. The conversion method is foot length CM*2-10CM. For example, if the foot length is 27CM, then multiply by 2 to get 54, and then subtract 10 to equal 44, which means that the shoe size should be 44.
Another problem is that the size and length of our left foot and right foot are definitely slightly different. They are not exactly the same, or the force they bear is different, so sometimes I feel that this foot is tighter and the other foot is slightly tighter. This is why the feet are a little looser.
Generally, the sizes of the anti-static work shoes we produce are national standards. Of course, it is not ruled out that some manufacturers may produce shoes that are a little larger or a little smaller.
Tips: Anti-static shoes should be used together with anti-static clothing; anti-static shoes should generally be tested for shoe resistance once every 200 hours or less. If the resistance is not within the specified range, they cannot be used as anti-static shoes.
