How to use Hakko 498 anti-static wrist strap tester
1. Put a 9V battery in the battery box behind the tester.
2. Insert the crocodile clip so that the tester connects to the ground clip.
3. Put on the hand strap and keep it close to your wrist.
4. Connect the ground wire to the hand strap
5, press the test button on the front of the instrument, you can see the light-emitting diode display light and hear the sound signal
(1) If the green "GOOD" light is on, the grounding system is safe.
(2) If the red “LOW” light is on, you need to check the resistance of the hand strap and the ground wire. When it is less than 800 kohm, it will affect human safety
(3) If the red "HIGH" light is on, please check if the hand strap is on your wrist
