How to wear and store antistatic clothing

Antistatic clothing is a very important means of electrostatic protection, so its use and maintenance requirements are very high. Anti-static clothing is required not to be allowed out of the workplace, regular inspection, and professional cleaning companies must be entrusted for maintenance and professional cleaning. Generally, antistatic work clothes are washed at least once every two weeks, and some demanding types of work, such as semiconductor processing workshops, are even washed once a day.
(1) All anti-static fabrics shall be used for clothing. Generally, no lining is used. When a lining must be used, the exposure of the lining should not exceed 20% of the inner surface area of the entire garment.
(2) According to the electrostatic sensitivity of different processing objects in different places, different grades of antistatic cloth and antistatic work clothes should be selected.
(3) It is forbidden to attach or wear any metal objects on the antistatic work clothes.
(4) Do not put on or take off work clothes at the site where static-sensitive products are handled (changes should be made in designated locker rooms). All work clothes buttons should be fastened so as not to make them close to undressing.
(5) Work clothes should be washed by simple methods as far as possible. Machine wash and hand wash are acceptable. The water temperature is 30-600 ° C. Work clothes should not be washed by strong mechanical and chemical operations. The immersion time should not exceed 3 hours.
(6) Ironing is the same as ordinary cotton fabrics and polyester-cotton fabrics. It can be used at temperatures above 40 ° C and below 85 ° C. The printed parts cannot be directly ironed with an iron.
(7) When wearing antistatic clothing, it must be worn with the antistatic shoes specified in GB 4385. When wearing anti-static shoes and conductive shoes, you should not wear insulated wool socks and insulated insoles at the same time. The place where anti-static shoes are used should be anti-static ground, and the place where conductive shoes are used should be conductive ground. In addition, in the wearing process, generally no more than 200h should be tested once.
(8) The anti-static work clothes must be replaced in strict accordance with the life cycle of the labor protection supplies, so as to prevent its anti-static function from weakening after repeated washing, which cannot meet the requirements.
