Is it okay to use a compressed air gun to blow the ion wind generated by the ion fan to the product?

Our engineers are going to install common compressed air guns in our manufacturing area, mainly for electrostatic dust removal of static sensitive equipment. Their theory is that as long as we use both ionizers and regular air guns on the bench, the air gun will replace the use of the ionizer. Is this method ok?
A: I don't think this approach will work. Because the air from a normal compressed air gun has a faster airflow, it may blow the ionized air from a desktop ionizer straight away and not neutralize the charge on static sensitive devices.
You can use a professional 6*6 ion fan analyzer or electrostatic test kit for testing. Test the location of static sensitive devices and test with and without a common compressed air gun.
