Selection of clean room materials

1. The various materials used in the clean room must be carefully selected to ensure that they will not pollute the room. Examples of materials and equipment frequently used in clean rooms are as follows: 1) Materials used in production: silicon wafers used in the microelectronics industry; 2) Product packaging materials: such as glass bottles, plastic bottles, plastic bags, prefabricated boxes, etc. 3) Process equipment and machinery; 4) Tools for maintenance, calibration and repair of equipment and machinery, lubricants for rotating equipment, etc.; 5) Personal clothing, such as clean work clothes, gloves, finger cots, masks, hoods, etc.; 6) Clean room cleaning supplies, such as rags and mops; 7) Consumable supplies, such as writing paper, ballpoint pens, labels, cotton swabs. In most clean rooms, particles and fibers are the main sources of environmental pollution. Therefore, avoid using materials that are easily damaged or emit particles in the production process. Materials with particles and fibers on the surface should also be avoided. In the semiconductor industry, chemicals on the product surface and certain gas molecules in the air environment may form compounds that are deposited on the surface of the semiconductor. They may affect the quality of the product and even damage the semiconductor chip. In some clean rooms, those materials that cannot continuously conduct static electricity away may damage those sensitive to static electricity due to the accumulation and discharge of static charges. In addition, static electricity will also cause the material to produce an electrostatic adsorption effect to adsorb particles, causing pollution problems.
Choosing the production materials used in the clean room should not only focus on the production process, but also pay attention to the possibility of pollution. Obviously, those materials and articles that may cause pollution but are required for production can only be used when they are indispensable, or only when the problem of pollution caused by these materials has been fully recognized, and other alternative materials have been considered. But it is really not suitable before use.
2. Some or all of the items listed below will cause serious pollution in the clean room. According to the different sensitivity of the product to pollution, it is generally prohibited to be used in the clean room.
1) Non-clean room special paper, if you must use ordinary paper, you should put it in a plastic bag or use double-sided thermoplastic; 2) Pencils, erasers, and ink contain chemicals and fibers that pollute the clean room environment Writing pens or ballpoint pens that can draw paper, correction fluid; 3) Items made of low-carbon steel or other materials that will rust, abrasion, or oxidize; 4) Items that will smoke or break when processed or processed by machines ; 5) Fragile items made of wood, rubber, paper, leather, wool, cotton and other natural materials; 6) Abrasive materials or powders, bottles and cans that produce aerosols; 7) Not suitable for dust-free Disposable items used in the room, such as cotton swabs, tape, labels;
