Static electricity problems and solutions in the textile industry

During the textile production process, static electricity and dust will cause great harm to product quality. When the air is dry, static electricity will slowly accumulate, and the friction between the machine and the yarn will produce more static electricity, which will cause the textile production to be unable to proceed normally. Accidents such as broken ends, flying flowers, and yarn entanglement that reduce production efficiency and product quality often occur, so the rapid and effective elimination of static electricity has become a guarantee of textile product quality.
The commonly used static electricity control equipment rod type static eliminator for static electricity elimination. The positive and negative ions it produces help to dissipate the static charge on the treated material. The ion rod can generate a large amount of airflow with positive and negative charges, which is blown out at high speed by compressed air, and can neutralize the charge on the object. When the charge on the surface of the object is negative, it will attract the positive charge in the airflow. When the charge on the surface of the object is positive, it will attract the negative charge in the airflow, so that the static electricity on the surface of the object is neutralized, achieving the purpose of eliminating static electricity.
1. Electrostatic elimination of textile carding machine
Problem: In the process of carding, static electricity will cause the fiber to be tightly attached to the upper and lower rollers, frequently entangled, and difficult to form strips, which seriously affects the quality of the gauze and even affects the normal production.
Solution: Install an electrostatic elimination rod 500mm above the conveyor belt.
2. Electrostatic elimination of warping machine
Problem: The high-speed running yarn has high static electricity, which will cause the yarn to be entangled, repelled, and broken.
Solution: Install an ion rod electrostatic eliminator above the yarn after warping to neutralize static electricity.
3. Electrostatic elimination of creel rack
Problem: The yarn generates static electricity and attracts dust during the processing process, resulting in uneven yarn dryness, yarn breakage and increased yarn defects.
Solution: Each layer of yarn passing through the reel must be subjected to electrostatic neutralization treatment, and the ion rod electrostatic eliminator is installed in a stepped manner.
4. Electrostatic elimination of winding machine
Problem: Static electricity causes the yarn to fluff until the yarn breaks, making it impossible to twist the silk thread twice.
Solution: Install an ion bar static eliminator to eliminate static electricity.
5. Inspection machine static elimination
Problem: The unrolled fabric will generate static electricity when passing over the inspection table, causing the fabric to stick to the inspection table and causing electric shock to the inspector.
Solution: When the textile leaves the inspection table, use an ion bar static eliminator to neutralize static electricity to prevent electric shock and prevent the fabric from being adsorbed on the inspection table.
6. Tenter setting static elimination
Problem: When the fabric walks on the machine, the temperature rises and the friction with the roller will generate a lot of static electricity, causing fabric adhesion and electric shock problems.
Solution: Use a static elimination bar, installed 100-500mm above the center of the fabric, to eliminate static electricity on the fabric. If there is static electricity on both sides of the cloth, static elimination bars need to be installed on both sides.
Product recommendation
We recommend static elimination bars for the textile industry.
