Static neutralizing air ionizers can be used to dissipate static charges on plastic materials

An air ionizer is a great way to neutralize static charges on the surface of insulators like PVC and other untreated plastics. The type of cell you need depends on where you need to control those charges and how large an area the material you want to control occupies.

The desktop ion blower is suitable for items occupying an area of approximately 30CM by 90CM sector. Note that ion blowers will neutralize live insulating surfaces in a straight line. Therefore, a three-dimensional object that is charged on all sides will need to be ionized on all sides to neutralize the static electricity.

The large hanging ion fan can neutralize the surface of objects in a rectangular area of about 60CM by 120CM. For effective ionization and neutralization (bringing the accumulated charge on the PVC surface into balance - neutrality), you may need to use multiple ionizers placed at different angles to cover all target surfaces.
