Static protection measures

Ionizing air fan

For example, use ion blowers in places with static electricity, and wear anti-static wrist straps and static shoes for workers. Recently, when our customers came to visit the factory, they asked us to do electrostatic grounding and asked us to do a formal electrostatic pile system. Is it necessary to do this?

In the process of static electricity prevention and control, an important concept we need to understand is that grounding is the most efficient way to eliminate static electricity.

The most critical point in the EPA area is electrostatic grounding. We need to ground the surfaces of all objects (both conductors and dissipators) in the production area to avoid potential differences between the objects and the earth potential. If electrical voltage equalization could be achieved by interconnecting all conductors and dissipative items on the bench, there would be no need for actual grounding, but we know this is nearly impossible.

In most cases, we can choose to use AC equipment grounding as static grounding. However, based on the consideration of personnel safety, AC grounding may have a bad effect on personnel safety in the case of leakage. Therefore, most enterprises recommend establishing their own independent electrostatic grounding system if the situation permits.
