The main role of the purification workshop
The main function of the purification workshop is to control the cleanliness and temperature and humidity of the products contacted by products (such as silicon chips), so that the products can be produced and manufactured in a good environmental space. This space is called a purification workshop. According to international practice, the level of dust-free purification is mainly based on the number of particles in the air per cubic meter of air whose particle diameter is larger than the division standard. That is to say, the so-called dust-free is not 100% without a little dust, but is controlled in a very small unit. Of course, the dust-compliant particles in this standard are already very small compared to our common dust, but for optical construction, even a little bit of dust can have a very large negative impact, so in the production of optical construction products. The clean room is an inevitable requirement.

In the purification workshop, the number of fine dusts with a particle size of less than 0.3 micrometers per cubic meter is controlled to be less than 3,500, and the level A of the international dust-free standard is reached. At present, the dust-free standard applied in the chip-level production and processing of the purification workshop has higher requirements for dust than the A-class. Such high-standard is mainly applied to the production of some higher-level chips. The amount of motes of 5μm and below is strictly controlled within 1000 meters per cubic meter, which is also known as the 1K level in the industry.
