What are the differences between the specifications of anti-static fabrics?

The stripes and grids we are talking about are the inlays of conductive silk. The striped conductive silk is vertically distributed, while the grid is cross-distributed. According to the different arrangements of conductive wires, commonly used anti-static fabrics include 5mm stripes, 5mm grids and 2.5mm grids, and their anti-static properties increase in turn.
Under normal circumstances, workshops below the 10,000-level can choose anti-static clothing made of 5mm striped fabrics, 1000-level workshops can use 5mm mesh fabric anti-static clothing, and 100-level workshops can use 2.5mm mesh fabric anti-static clothing.
The general anti-static fabric is divided into three styles: 0.5 stripe, 0.5 mesh, and 0.25 mesh. The number represents the density of the conductive wire. The smaller the density, the better the anti-static performance.
(1) Anti-static 0.5 stripe
Anti-static 0.5 stripe fabric, this kind of fabric is generally suitable for making uniforms, anti-static clothing such as split suits, of course, one-piece suits will also be used, but it is a minority. Anti-static clothing made of striped anti-static fabric is generally suitable for industries that are not particularly strict with static requirements, such as electronics factories, food factories, pharmaceutical factories and working environments with low sensitivity of electronic components.
(2) Anti-static 0.5 mesh
The anti-static performance of anti-static 0.5 mesh fabric is slightly better than that of 0.5 striped fabric. 0.5 mesh fabric has better conductivity, easy connection, and better ESD effect. It is mostly used in the electronics industry, packaging factories, electronic parts processing factories, Semiconductor factory, precision industry, optoelectronic industry; this kind of anti-static fabric is suitable for making anti-static one-piece suits, mostly used in environments with high sensitivity of electronic components!
(3) Anti-static 0.25 mesh
Anti-static 0.25 mesh fabric, small mesh with smaller conductive yarn spacing and higher fabric density, is also the best among these anti-static fabrics. Yarn has extremely low frictional charge voltage, better conductivity, and is suitable for use in environments with higher static electricity and better cleanliness. Generally, anti-static clothing made of this fabric is mostly three-piece or four-piece!
