Why electronics factories need anti-static


Many electronics factory employees now need to wear anti-static dust-free clothes when working. Employees do not know that static electricity can cause anti-dust when they damage electronic products! Therefore, letting employees understand the hazards of static electricity can reduce the relative resilience of employees wearing anti-static dust-free clothes and make their work smoother.


First, let's talk about the important reasons for anti-static in electronic factories:


1. Static electricity absorbs dust, changes the impedance between lines, and affects the function and life of electronic components.

2. The insulation or conductor of the electronic component is damaged due to the electric field or current, making the electronic component inoperable (completely damaged).


3. Due to the heat generated by the electric field or current, the electronic components are injured and can still work, but the use time is shortened.


From the production of an electronic component to its damage, all processes are subject to static electricity, and the onset of these static electricity is also random. Because the outbreak and discharge of static electricity are instantaneous, and it is difficult to guess and protect. Therefore, it is necessary for the electronics factory operators to wear a qualified anti-static dust-free clothing to effectively protect the product. The anti-static measures of the electronics factory need to do the following:


Wear anti-static dust-free clothing: Anti-static clothing is made of special anti-static clean fabric. This fabric is made of special polyester filament, and the conductive fibers are woven in the warp or weft direction. With high efficiency, permanent anti-static, dust-proof performance, thin and smooth, clear texture, suitable for pharmaceutical plants, food plants, electronics plants clean workshops, laboratories, etc.


Wear anti-static shoes: Anti-static shoes can guide static electricity from the human body to the ground, thereby eliminating static electricity from the human body, and also effectively suppressing the dust generated by people walking in the clean room. Anti-static shoes are made of PU or PVC material, and the soles are made of anti-static and anti-slip materials, which can absorb sweat and odor, and can also achieve anti-slip and anti-static functions. It can effectively leak static electricity and form a complete anti-static system together with anti-static clothing. It is suitable for pharmaceutical factories, food factories, electronics factories, clean workshops, laboratories, etc.


Wear anti-static wrist straps: Anti-static wrist straps are divided into corded wrist straps, cordless wrist straps, and smart anti-static wrist straps. They are divided into single-loop wrist straps and dual-loop wrist straps according to their structure. It consists of elastic bands, movable snaps, spring flexible wires, protective resistors and plugs or chucks. The inner layer of the elastic band is woven with antistatic yarn, and the outer layer is woven with ordinary yarn to achieve a good antistatic effect.
