Anti-static packaging material friction electrification performance test

The triboelectric charging property of the antistatic packaging material means that when it is rubbed and contacted with other materials, the electrostatic voltage (referenced to the earth) is less than 100V. The 100V is considered to be an acceptable level for the most sensitive device with its own internal protection design or an upper limit for the ambient voltage typically controlled in the anti-static work area.

The main data requirements and requirements are as follows:

(1) The friction material is usually made of synthetic fiber and has a thickness of 5 mm. Each test should be replaced with new materials. Before the test, strict surface treatment is required to remove all surface foreign matter. Its surface resistivity is at least 1013 Ω*m.

(2) The size of the sample is 120mm x 120mm or Φ120mm, and the surface should be natural (ie no surface treatment is required).

(3) The center friction speed of the sample is 0.5 m/s.

(4) The friction repetition frequency is performed every 2 s.

(5) Each sample was tested 3 times, and the friction was 50 times per time. The amount of charge was read by the field strength meter, and the average value of 3 times was taken as the test result of the sample.

(6) Since the surface condition of the sample has a great influence on the result, the surface of the sample is not allowed to be touched by hand during the operation.

(7) When the system is determined, the field strength meter can be calibrated with the charge surface density. The test can be carried out continuously during the intermittent rubbing process, or the surface of the sample can be tested immediately after the friction is stopped.

(8) The friction speed, direction and contact pressure should be kept unchanged throughout the test.

It should be noted that this method only specifies a friction material. In fact, due to the difference in the position of the friction material in the charged sequence, the test results will also have a great influence. In the actual test, materials in different positions in the upper, middle and lower parts of the charging sequence should be selected as the friction material, or several materials to be packaged can be selected as the friction material.
