Characteristics of Antistatic Clothing ESD Fabrics

Today I learned some basic knowledge about antistatic clothing and cleanroom clothing fabrics. Antistatic ESD clothing and cleanroom clothing fabrics can be broadly divided into two categories: conductive silk and T/C polyester-cotton blends. I got some fabric samples. Conductive silk antistatic clothing fabric is made by weaving polyester filaments with conductive fibers. This type of antistatic clothing is suitable for microelectronics, precision machinery, aerospace, and chemical pharmaceutical industries. Another type is TC fabric, which is a blend of polyester and cotton yarns. The standard for manufacturing this type of antistatic clothing is generally 65% polyester and 35% cotton. This ensures both a smooth appearance and comfortable wear, and the clothing made from this fabric is relatively thick. It is generally used in microelectronics, aerospace, precision machinery, and chemical industries.
