Safety Shoe Classifications
Different safety shoes have different functions and applications:
· Toe Protection Safety Shoes: These shoes have an AN1 safety rating and are suitable for use in industries such as metallurgy, mining, forestry, ports, loading and unloading, quarrying, machinery, construction, petroleum, and chemicals.
· Puncture-Resistant Safety Shoes: These shoes have a 1-grade puncture resistance and are suitable for use in mining, firefighting, construction, forestry, cold work, and machinery.

· Electrically Insulating Shoes: These shoes are suitable for electricians, electronics operators, cable installers, and transformer installers. Precautions: These shoes are suitable for working environments with power frequency voltages below 1 kV. The working environment should be able to keep the shoe surface dry. Avoid contact with sharp objects, high temperatures, and corrosive substances. The upper and sole must not be corroded or damaged.
· Anti-static Safety Shoes: These shoes eliminate static electricity buildup on the human body and are suitable for use in flammable workplaces, such as gas station operators and liquefied gas bottlers. Precautions: Do not use anti-static shoes as insulating shoes. Avoid wearing thick, insulating woolen socks or insulated insoles with anti-static shoes. Anti-static shoes should be worn with anti-static clothing. Anti-static shoes should generally be tested for resistance within 200 hours. If the resistance is not within the specified range, they cannot be used as anti-static shoes.
Acid and Alkali Resistant Safety Shoes: Suitable for electroplating workers, pickling workers, electrolyzers, liquid preparation workers, chemical operators, etc. Precautions: Acid and alkali-resistant leather shoes are only suitable for use in workplaces with low concentrations of acids and alkalis. Avoid contact with high temperatures, sharp objects, or leakage from the soles. After wearing, rinse the shoes with clean water to remove any acid or alkali liquids and air dry them. Avoid direct sunlight or drying.
