How to detect ion fan performance
How to detect the performance of ion fan? Ion fans have a balanced voltage, which can be measured using ion fan testers such as ME-268A-1, CPM374, EFM022 electrostatic field tester / CPS022 test kit, etc. Balancing voltage is a very important performance of ion fan! It reflects the electrostatic hazard that the ion fan will bring to the object when it is working, that is, the static voltage that will be generated on this object. It is safe if this voltage does not exceed the antistatic capability of ESD sensitive devices. The balance voltage of the current ion fan can be only a few volts, so it is safe for most situations.

The static electricity on the charged body is not enough to neutralize the static electricity generated by the ion fan! In other words, the static electricity on the charged body is completely neutralized by the ion blower. After that, the positive and negative ions produced by the ion blower should be relatively balanced (the balance voltage is not considered, because this voltage is safe for the product), Relatively speaking, the positive and negative ions act on the object at the same time (even if it is an AC ion fan and a pulsed DC ion fan, the frequency of alternating positive and negative ions is 60hz, it can also be considered to be acting at the same time), then the object will not carry static electricity. There will be no voltages that cause damage to sensitive devices.
Of course, this time is not absolute 0V, there should be a relatively low voltage on the object, this value should be less than the equilibrium voltage. Within the acceptable range, it is safe! Therefore, when selecting an ion fan, balancing voltage is a very important consideration.
