How to do personal protection when working in low temperature environment

Many workers work in low temperature environments. The personal protection for these workers is as follows:
First of all, relevant industries and enterprises should pay attention to the safety production and labor maintenance rules and regulations of their units, and have relevant anti-freezing and warming measures, so that there are rules to follow.
Second, the inspection and maintenance of refrigeration equipment should be strengthened, and "running, emitting, dripping, and leaking" should be prohibited. If an ammonia leak is found, measures should be taken to repair it in time to prevent the leak from spreading. In order to ensure good ventilation equipment in the refrigeration workshop, if a large amount of ammonia leaks, it should be discharged outside in time to prevent poisoning incidents. The refrigeration workshop must be equipped with suitable gas masks or oxygen breathing apparatus.
In addition, low-temperature operation and cold-water operation should be automated and mechanized as much as possible to prevent or reduce low-temperature operation and cold-water operation; low-temperature operation and cold-water operation time need to be controlled; cold-proof work places in winter should be equipped with cold-proof heating equipment, outdoor operations should be sheltered And heating sheds; cold-proof clothing should be made of materials with low thermal conductivity, low moisture absorption, and good air permeability; workers must wear winter clothes, shoes, hats, gloves and other warm items during operation; cold-proof clothing should be protected from getting wet, and limbs should not be tied Too tight, so as not to affect part of the blood circulation; changing rooms and rest rooms should be set near the cold storage to ensure that workers have enough rest times and rest periods. If possible, it is best to let workers take a hot bath after work.
Finally, regular physical examinations and health monitoring should be carried out on workers. Anyone who is over 50 years old and suffers from high blood pressure, heart disease, gastrointestinal dysfunction, etc., should be transferred from the post of low-temperature storage in time. Pay attention to the special maintenance of female workers, and it is strictly forbidden to arrange the "fourth phase" female workers to engage in cold storage operations.
When working in a low temperature environment, the requirements for protective gloves are very strict. They have both the protective function of conventional gloves and the cold-proof function under severe cold conditions. Cold-proof gloves commonly used in PVC coated gloves include fluorescent cold-proof gloves, cashmere-lined cold-proof gloves, and brown condoms lined with sponge composite cloth. These gloves are resistant to cold, water, oil, acid and alkali.
