Human body static discharger selection guide
I. Core selection factors
Scenario risk level: Prioritize the assessment of whether the environment is a flammable and explosive area (such as oil depots, chemical plants, coal mines) or a non-high-risk area (such as offices, electronic workshops); high-risk areas require explosion-proof dischargers, while non-high-risk areas can choose ordinary types.
Environmental characteristics: Consider the operating temperature range (such as -50℃~+100℃), humidity and corrosive conditions to ensure that the equipment can adapt to extreme environments.
Functional requirements: High-risk areas must be equipped with intelligent warning systems (such as sound and light alarms, grounding monitoring), and non-high-risk areas can choose basic functional models.
II. Type differentiation basis

Ordinary type: All-metal structure (stainless steel material), passive circuit design, suitable for non-flammable and explosive places (such as computer rooms, ordinary industrial areas), fast static elimination speed and no power supply required.
Explosion-proof type (intrinsically safe type): Designed for flammable and explosive environments (such as oil tank areas and loading and unloading areas), the material contains static conductive agents (such as polyethylene), the surface resistance value is controlled at 1×10⁷Ω~1×10⁹Ω, and integrated sound and light alarm and ground fault detection functions.
III. Key technical parameters
Material identification: The ball head must be an electrostatic subconductor (surface resistance 10⁶Ω~10⁹Ω), avoiding conductors or insulators; the base and rod body are preferably made of stainless steel to ensure durability and conductivity.
Safety performance: Discharge current ≤0.1mA, residual voltage <100V, response time <1 second; explosion-proof certification (such as ExiaIICT4 Gb) is required for high-risk areas.
Additional functions: Infrared sensing or voice prompt modules are preferred to enhance operational standardization.
IV. Installation and specification requirements
Location layout: Install in the passageway that personnel must pass through (such as escalator entrance, pump room door), with a height of about 1 meter and a distance of ≥1.5 meters from the sampling port.
Grounding standard: Use a wire with a cross-sectional area of ≥0.3mm² to connect an independent grounding electrode, with a grounding resistance of
