SMT Production Site Anti-static Training
The importance of electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety is increasingly recognized. Strictly speaking, the entire SMT production site should be designed according to ESD safety work area standards. ESD protection is a systematic project and should be considered part of total quality management, attracting the attention of all employees. Production areas should not only be equipped with all necessary ESD protection equipment, but relevant personnel should also receive regular ESD protection training, consciously adhere to ESD protection procedures, and production and work areas should be designed with a good grounding system (e.g., ground resistance should be less than 4 ohms). Factory floors should have anti-static properties or be covered with anti-static mats.
