Flame retardant modification is a major difficulty in coal mine engineering plastics. Generally, it is not difficult to achieve flame retardant, as long as sufficient flame retardant is added, but the amount of flame retardant added is too large, which seriously damages the mechanical properties and loses the application value. To solve this problem, the combination, ratio and process of the flame retardant are coordinated by the three parties. It is composed of several synergistic flame retardants to form an optimal flame retardant system, and then it is made into an affinity with the parent material by a suitable process. The new material with the best flame retardant properties and the least amount of modified materials.

There are two ways to achieve antistatic. One is the surface treatment method, which is to prepare a solution with a surfactant and treat the surface of the plastic device by spraying, brushing, coating, etc. The advantage of this method is that the process is simple and the cost is low, but It is only effective, and it will take a long time to fail as the surface is rubbed. The second is to add antistatic substances to the plastic, and the plastic itself has permanent antistatic properties through its mixed modification, which is an electrostatic conductor plastic. This plastic leaks automatically when the static charge is concentrated enough to produce a certain amount of energy. Additives widely used at present include fatty acid polydipril, fatty alcohol, alkyl phenol ethylene oxide, alkanolamine, phosphate ester and the like.
