How the ESD anti-static mat works with the heel strap
(1) ESD anti-static mat is an anti-static floor mat;
(2) The ESD anti-static mat is conductive;
(3) Painted conductive floors complying with ANSI/ESD-S7.1 and grounded;
(4) The foot grounder works normally and passes the test of the foot grounder tester.
Place the ESD mat on the floor, it is recommended to also use a mat ground wire to ground your ESD mat to a static ground wire (or to a static common ground).
Using foot grounders in conjunction with these ESD mats or conductive painted floors will provide a conductive path to the body ground, thereby eliminating static charges from the bodies of moving personnel.
