The Function of ESD Antistatic Clothing
Antistatic clothing is an important component of the human body's antistatic system, enabling the elimination or control of static electricity generation on the body, thereby reducing the primary source of static electricity in the manufacturing process.

Antistatic clothing includes antistatic coveralls, antistatic two-piece suits, antistatic lab coats, antistatic shoes, hats, antistatic gloves, and antistatic finger cots. Antistatic clothing is made of antistatic fabrics of different colors. The fabric yarn contains a certain proportion of conductive yarn, which is a blend of stainless steel fibers or other conductive fibers with ordinary fibers. Static electricity on the clothing is eliminated through the corona discharge and leakage effect of the conductive fibers. Because stainless steel fibers are metallic fibers, the conductivity of antistatic fabrics woven from them is stable and does not change with the number of washes.
