The triboelectric performance of anti-static packaging materials means that when they are rubbed and separated from other materials, the electrostatic voltage (with the earth as the reference point) generated is lower than 100V. This 100V is considered to be the acceptable level for the most sensitive devices with their own internal protection design or the upper limit of the ambient voltage usually controlled in the anti-static work area.

The main data regulations and requirements are as follows:
(1) The friction material is usually made of synthetic fibers with a thickness of 5mm. Each test should be replaced with a new material. Before putting into the test, the surface treatment must be strictly carried out to remove all surface foreign matter. Its surface resistivity is at least 1013Ω*m.
(2) The size of the sample is 120mm x 120mm or Φ120mm, and the surface should be natural (that is, no surface treatment is required).
(3) The friction velocity at the center of the sample is 0.5m/s.
(4) The friction repetition frequency is once every 2s.
(5) Each sample was tested 3 times, with a total of 50 times of rubbing each time. The electric charge was read by the field strength meter, and the average value of the 3 times was taken as the test result of the sample.
(6) Since the surface condition of the sample has a great influence on the result, it is not allowed to touch the surface of the sample with hands during the operation.
(7) When the system is determined, the field strength meter can be calibrated with the charge surface density. The test can be performed continuously during intermittent rubbing, or the surface of the sample can be tested immediately after the rubbing has stopped.
(8) During the whole test process, the friction speed, direction and contact pressure should be kept unchanged.

It should be noted that this method specifies only one friction material. In fact, due to the difference in the position of the friction material in the charging sequence, it will also have a great impact on the test results. In the actual test, materials at different positions in the upper, middle and lower positions of the charging sequence should be selected as friction materials, and several packaged product materials can also be selected as friction materials.
