What should you pay attention to when using anti-static shoes and anti-static wrist straps?
Anti-static shoes should have anti-static socks/insoles when worn, and work on anti-static ground to make the static electricity brought by the human body to the earth. Any part of the resistors that are too large or disconnected will cause the human body to carry harmful static electricity. Therefore, in important departments, there should be a human body resistance tester to detect whether the shoes/socks/insole worn by the human body and the total resistance of the human body can cause leakage of static electricity. The wrist strap uses a special grounding wire with a socket to connect to the ground. It cannot be clamped to the metal body on the table or table side, because the resistance of these metal bodies to the ground may be large. Always check the resistance of the wristband.

Do not disconnect when using an antistatic wrist strap, otherwise the grounding effect will be lost. The main problem with the use of various wristbands is that they are open, sometimes temporary, and sometimes disconnected for long periods of time, causing the loss of grounding. Some people use the wristband detector to measure the on/off state, and some use the monitoring instrument to measure the open circuit and the resistance of the wristband. The wristband is not tightly buckled, causing the contact resistance between the human skin and the wristband to become larger. Some of the wristband's resistance is the strap itself. When the strap touches the ground, its resistance is greatly reduced, which may cause electric shock to the human body. Some self-proclaimed wireless wristbands are far less effective than wired ones.
