Why should anti-static clothing be cleaned before first use?

Anti-static clothing is widely used in aerospace, biopharmaceuticals, optoelectronic displays, scientific research laboratories, food and cosmetics and other industries. It is made of polyester filaments and high-performance permanent conductive fibers through a special process. The anti-static clothing made by the process has good anti-static and dust-proof performance.
Anti-static clothing that has been used for a period of time should be cleaned regularly, because after wearing it for a period of time, the surface of anti-static clothing may be contaminated with stains and perspiration. Such anti-static clothing, on the one hand, affects the anti-static performance of anti-static clothing, on the other hand On the one hand, it will also bring discomfort to the user.
Not only the used anti-static clothing needs to be cleaned, but also the newly purchased anti-static clothing.
In the production process of anti-static clothing, the surface of the clothing will be polluted to varying degrees, and the cloth debris, sewing machine oil, dust, etc. may adhere to the clothing fabric.
For high-level production workshops, new anti-static clothing needs to be cleaned without dust even if there are no obvious stains on the surface. Because it may contain a large number of invisible dust particles, if it is not cleaned in time, it will affect the performance of anti-static clothing.
Some workwear manufacturers do not clean and wash the finished garments after they produce finished garments. Instead, they package and ship them directly to customers after they are ironed. Such anti-static clothing cannot be used in high-level production workshops.
