Standards for Static Electricity Grounding at Gas Stations

1. At the beginning, end, and branch points of oil, liquefied petroleum gas, and natural gas pipelines laid on the ground or in trenches, a combined grounding device for anti-static and induced lightning protection should be installed, with a grounding resistance not exceeding 30Ω.

2. Gasoline tanker and liquefied petroleum gas tanker unloading areas at gas stations should be equipped with lightning protection grounding devices for unloading, and preferably equipped with an electrostatic grounding instrument capable of detecting jumper wires and monitoring the status of the grounding device.

3. Flanges and hose connections on oil, liquefied petroleum gas, and natural gas pipelines in explosion hazard areas should be bridged with metal wires. When the flange connection has at least five bolts, bridging is not required in non-corrosive environments.

4. The grounding resistance of the anti-static grounding device should not exceed 100Ω.
