Whether the clean clothes are qualified depends on four factors
No matter what level of clean room the clean clothes are suitable for, they must have the following four basic elements, namely: clean performance, electrostatic performance, durability and comfort. The following ESD technical consultation describes the role and requirements of these four elements respectively:
Element 1: Clean performance
The clean clothes are required to effectively block the particles generated by the human body from spreading into the air, and the clothes themselves must not generate dust and are not easy to absorb dust. So as to keep the clean room environment from being polluted by the staff.
Element 2: Electrostatic performance
The surface resistance of the clean clothes is required to be between 105-1011 ohms, and the overall electrical connectivity of the clothes is maintained. So as to avoid the damage and impact of electrostatic discharge on the product, and avoid the adsorption of tiny particles in the air by static electricity.
Element 3: Durability
It is required that under the prescribed use and maintenance procedures, within the prescribed service life, the attenuation of the dustproof function of the clothes should be controlled within the prescribed range. So as to ensure that the clean clothes function continuously and stably during the service period.
Element 4: Comfort
It is required to ensure the breathability and moisture permeability of the clothing within a certain range, and ensure the freedom of movement and privacy of the wearer. This ensures the comfort of the wearer of the clean clothing and avoids the excessive burden of the work clothes on the staff.
The above performance aspects should be used to judge whether the clean clothing is qualified. Dust-free does not mean clean. That is to say, only when these four factors are met at the same time can it be called a qualified clean clothing, otherwise it cannot be called a clean clothing.
