Anti-static packaging material friction electrification performance test
The triboelectric performance of anti-static packaging materials means that the electrostatic voltage (with the earth as a reference point) generated when it is friction and contact separation with other materials is less than 100V. The 100V is considered to be the acceptable level of the most sensitive device with its own internal protection design or the upper limit of the ambient voltage usually controlled in the anti-static work area.
The main data regulations and requirements are as follows:

(1) The friction material is usually made of synthetic fiber with a thickness of 5mm. A new material should be replaced for each test. The surface treatment should be strictly carried out before the test to remove all surface foreign objects. Its surface resistivity is at least 1013Ω*m.
(2) The size of the sample is 120mm x 120mm or Φ120mm, and the surface should be natural (that is, no surface treatment is required).
(3) The friction speed at the center of the sample is 0.5m/s.
(4) The friction repetition frequency is once every 2s.
(5) Each sample is tested 3 times, and each time is rubbed 50 times in total, the electric charge is read by the field strength meter, and the average value of 3 times is taken as the test result of the sample.
(6) Since the surface condition of the sample has a great influence on the results, it is not allowed to touch the surface of the sample with your hands during the operation.
(7) When the system is confirmed, the field strength meter can be calibrated with the charge surface density. It can be tested continuously during the intermittent friction process, or the sample surface can be tested immediately after the friction stops.
(8) During the whole test, the friction speed, direction and contact pressure should be kept unchanged.
It should be noted that this method only specifies one type of friction material. In fact, due to the different position of the friction material in the charging sequence, it will also have a great impact on the test results. In the actual test, materials at different positions in the upper, middle, and lower positions of the electrification sequence should be selected as friction materials, and several packaged product materials can also be selected as friction materials.
