Maintenance of Antistatic Workbenches
Antistatic workbenches are relatively delicate electrical devices, and regular maintenance is crucial.
First, maintain a dry and clean environment. Humid air can cause corrosion of manufacturing materials, affect the normal operation of electrical circuits, and promote the growth of bacteria and mold. A clean environment also extends the lifespan of filter plates.
Second, regular cleaning of the equipment is an essential part of normal use. Cleaning should include routine cleaning before and after use, as well as periodic fumigation treatments. During fumigation, all gaps should be completely sealed. For clean benches with movable baffle covers at the operating opening, plastic film can be used for sealing.
The filter plates and UV germicidal lamps of antistatic workbenches have specified service lives and should be replaced on schedule.
